Starting on 25th July 2022, for a

whole week, BBC Radio Derby will play a song of mine on the evening

show at about 8:20pm.

I recorded some live sessions for

them recently after Campervan Man

was played back in February.

My song Campervan Man from Mercy Mercia was played on BBC Radio Derby on 1st February 2022 at about 9:20pm.

I also gave an interview discussing the background of the song and my new musical projects.

 

A remotely recorded version of Lanterns with Lockdown friends Steve Amadeo on bass, Damon Clarridge on drums, Andrew Pipe on lead guitar and Vicki Smith and backing vocals was played on BBC Radio Solent on Sunday 9th January 2022 at 3:20 pm (about 1hr 18mins in to the show).

I did a short interview beforehand with DJ Tom Stroud who was standing

in for Lucy Ambache that day.

The Ghost In Your Hand

 We decided to just have a go at writing a song around Easter time 2020- mid Lockdown, then shelved it for some reason and forgot about it. We discovered it again fairly recently and finally decided on a name for it. I'm really pleased with how

it's turned out :)

 It has a contemporary

folky  progressive feel,

with a dystopian ambient

futuristic edge that's rooted

in 80's fantasy

adventure nostalgia :)
